Meet the chatterbox sLP & Owner

Kendra Tomiello, MA, CCC-SLP

I began my career as an assistant speech-language pathologist in 2009 and have over 15 years of experience in pediatric home health. Today, I'm a fully licensed and ASHA-certified SLP. I started this practice to bring quality, convenient care to Fort Worth families. I've had the privilege of working with children of all ages and a wide range of medical diagnoses and communication needs, including early intervention, receptive and expressive language delays, developmental language disorder, speech sound disorders, autism, and other communication challenges.

I believe effective speech therapy is evidence-based, meets each child where they are, and fits naturally into their daily play and routines. Every treatment plan is highly customized to your child's communication profile and developmental needs. My mission is to help children communicate with confidence while equipping families to support their progress.

Clinical Specialties

I specialize in working with pediatric clients from early childhood to school-age years. My current schedule is specifically designed to accommodate morning and midday sessions. My practice is a good fit for toddlers, preschoolers, and families utilizing daycare/preschool, ABA centers, homeschool, and private/charter schools.

I frequently support families with:

  • Early Intervention - Empowering late talkers to find their voice during play-based and child-led interactions

  • Speech Sound Disorders - Assessing and treating articulation and phonological challenges to improve speech clarity

  • Receptive & Expressive Language - Helping children understand spoken language, increase vocabulary, expand phrases/sentences to express their ideas and thoughts effectively

  • Social & Pragmatic Communication - Building foundational communication skills necessary for meaningful connections and increased independence

  • AAC implementation & total communication - Supporting children to communicate in a variety of ways, including gestures, signs, spoken language, and pictures and speech-generating devices as appropriate
